Description

The VA Portland VA Medical Center, Portland, OR intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the on-site repair of the Alcon Accurus Vitrectomy unit. The scissors function of this unit is currently malfunctioning rendering this unit non-mission capable. This proposed action in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. If however, any source believes it can furnish the service described above it is encouraged to furnish information about its services and related products, as well as references from other customers. Supporting evidence (i.e. authorized service provider, etc.) must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses are to be received within 2 business days after publication of this notice. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VA Puget Sound Health Care System, 9600 Veterans Drive, 10-F-ACQ, Tacoma, WA 98493 or via email to: Alisha.joyce@va.gov.
