- Description: CURRENTLY THERE ARE NO FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR THIS CONTRACT. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. The project will be construction services for the repair of underground electrical cables from pole #226 to well #8 on the "C" Circuit. The work will include the subsequent engineering services for plans, specifications, design, analysis, and cost estimate for repair of "C" Circuit. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, engineering, and supervision to replace existing underground primary power lines with new underground primary power on portions of "C" Circuit at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The contractor shall install new underground electrical distribution systems, approximately 6,000 linear feet of 15KV #2 cable, approximately 4,000 feet of conduit, and five "575" vaults. Hi-pot testing is required for this project. The contractor shall be responsible for advance notification and coordination in order to not interfere with mission needs. Period of performance is 120 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically o/a 11 July 2011. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.FedBizOpps.com or www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. The NAICS code is 237310; size standard $33.5M. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation is a small business set-aside. This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
