- The previous pre-solicitation number F3K3DD1167A001 was incorrect and is cancelled. The requirement will be reposted under pre-solicitation number FA2521-11-R-0012. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation for Repair of HVAC system Bldg 624. The required support will provide all labor, material, and equipment required to The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to replace three existing split DX HVAC systems with a single chilled water VAV system. This project replaces and combines the exisiting constant volume DX air handling units (AHU-1, 2, & 3), serving the occupied areas of the facility, with a single chilled water air handler with a VFD controller. In addition, a packaged air cooled chiller, pumps, new VAV boxes with electric heat at each HVAC zone and new control system shall be installed to support this new central AHU and integrate new and existing HVAC equipment. The existing 112.5 KVA pad mount transformer is removed and replaced with a new 225 KVA transformer mounted on a new pad and power is provide to the new HVAC components. All work shall be performed while facility is occupied with minimum interruption to operations. Contractor shall provide temporary portable air conditioning as well to maintain environmental conditions as scheduled in the drawings (Will be provided in Solicitation). Period of performance is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 11 JUL 2011 and proposal closing date of 30JUL2011 are tentative. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 238220/$14M. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business companies. Contract award will be based on a best value analysis using performance-price, trade-off (PPT) procedures.
