- Description
- This work of this project consists of upgrading existing elevator control equipment at Boott Mill Complex, Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, Massachusetts with new elevator control equipment to enable the Fire Alarm Control Panel to operate in conjunction with the elevator system to perform the function known as elevator recall and to meet necessary Federal and local code requirements. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract for this upgrade. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 238290 and $14.0 million. Only one award shall be made. The information on where to submit quotes will be in the solicitation documents. A completed quote package shall include one copy of completed SF18, Request for Quotation with original signature; completed quote schedule, ORCA or completed Section K, Representations and Certifications. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible quoter whose quote will be most advantageous to the government, considering only price and price related factors included in the request for quotation. Questions concerning this request for quotation must be submitted via e:mail to ellen_barr@nps.gov. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests being sent via mail must contain a verifiable return address or they will not be opened. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Paper copies of the solicitation shall not be issued but electronic copies of the solicitation will be available to download on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) on or about July 12, 2011.
