- Request for Quote This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement along with the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) constitutes the only solicitation, and quotes are being requested. The solicitation number is RFQP0700NAS1100038 and is issued as a RFQ. This RFQ is issued on an unrestricted basis under North American Industry Classification System code 511210. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make an award or 13 annual software licenses, maintenance, support and 3 days of QuickStart Training. The period of performance will be from date of award through one year. The maintenance and support services covered will be new software releases, updates, program temporary fixes, documentation updates, and toll free hot-line support 24 hours per day, seven days per week. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith based and community based organization can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The due date for quotes is June 29, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
