Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS. The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System intends to award a firm fixed price contract, sole source set aside SDVOSB, to Hughes Group LLC, under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 819.7007. This is for janitorial services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561720. The related small business size standard is $16.5M. The proposed performance period is one base year of 12 months. Anticipated award date is July 1, 2011. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. No contracts will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone questions will be accepted.
