- This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval WarfareCenter Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic) intends to award a firm fixed price purchaseorder to Paradise Datacom LLC for the procurement of 2 each: C-Band LNA 3.7 - 4.2 GHz; Dual 1:1 L-Band to X-Band Converter and Dual 1:1 L-Band to C-BandConverter, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible sourceand no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ParadiseDatacom is the sole source manufacturer that provides a dual redundantupconverter amplifier with automatic failover capability that meets therequiredsize, frequency specifications and redundancy capability for the SHF terminal.Award is anticipated by COB 28 June 2011. This synopsis is posted forinformational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Noelectronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or madeavailable for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 andFAR Part 13. NAICS is 334220. CCR registration is required for all vendorsdoing business with the Department of Defense. Quotes are due to theContract Specialist, Victoria Franklin at victoria.franklin@navy.mil by 11:00a.m.Eastern Standard Time, 28 June 2011. Delivery is expected by August 26,2011. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed actionbased on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of theGovernment.
