- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies and services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is F5N2MX1042A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423830, Spray Paint Booth with a corresponding small business size standard not to exceed 100 employees. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The 439th Airlift Wing requires the replacement of paint spray booth with a new cross draft three stage Aerospace/EOA compliant filtration system complete fire suppression and bi-fold doors. The contractor will disconnect fire and electrical systems and remove existing paint spray booth. The contractor will install the new paint spray booth and all the fire and electrical systems. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, labor, and other items and services necessary to perform the work at Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee Massachusetts. The paint spray booth must be in Air Force compliance in accordance with CCFRG, Revision8, May 6, 2010 (see attached). Spray booth specifications: • Approximately 20 ft wide by 28 ft long • Cross draft design • New 48 in. blower assembly, using existing 42 inch duct • Three stage aerospace/EPA compliant filtration system • 1 personnel access door • Complete fire suppression system • Maximum lighting • Bi-fold doors 10 ft height with maximum opening width • Use existing makeup air unit in room • No cure cycle heating system All proposals will be considered. Any resultant award will be made to the lowest priced offeror providing a technically acceptable offer as outlined in the solicitation. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will run from approximately July 1, 2011 to September 30, 2011. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates/amendments to any and all documents. Please see attached document for details of requirements. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its supplements (DFARS and AFFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, 52.212-1, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, and 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. To receive an award of contract the offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database which can be accessed at the website http://www.ccr.gov or call Assistance Center toll free at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR number in order to register to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website.
