- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00604-11-T-3119. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice 20110623. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 332999 and the Small Business Standard is 500. The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. The proposed contract action is for a brand name or equal product. The brand name, model number, and salient characteristics of the product(s) are: Pro-tainer Pro-Mesh Recycling Trailers with 20 cu. yd. capacity, 6 foot high walls, single axle, 2 rear doors, safety chains, pintle hitch, electric brakes, high-durability paint (black), and a low-profile metal floor for easy unloading. Must be capable of being licensed for street use IAW Hawaii State Laws. FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal is hereby incorporated by reference. Provide information required by FAR 52.211-6 when submitting offers for brand name or equal products The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Pearl Harbor, Hawaii requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: 00015 each “ Pro-Mesh Recycling Trailers with 20 cu. yd. capacity, 6 foot high walls, single axle, 2 rear doors, safety chains, pintle hitch, electric brakes, high-durability paint (black), and a low-profile metal floor for easy unloading. Must be capable of being licensed for street use IAW Hawaii State Laws. 0002Freight (FOB DEST) to Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam 96853 Delivery is 30-60 days ADC; Delivery Location is Pearl Harbor (zip code 96853). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of factors - a combination of technically acceptable low price and past performance.
