- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, is requiring the acquisition of P/N 1313310-010, miniR700 Interface Adapters, four (4) quantity; P/N 131593-01G, mRMM 224GB w/1394B download port, two (2) quantity; P/N 13133210-010, mRMM Carrying Case, four (4) quantity; P/N 1313317-010, CX-011 Capacitor Module, one (1) quantity for AMPEX miniR700 recorders for the MH60S & MH-60R Romeo Sea Hawk Helicopter Platform in support of data acquisition of the Automatic Radar Periscope Detection and Discrimination (ARPDD) Radar program under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Repairs of AMPEX miniR700 recorders will also be procured which include repairs to P/N 1313163-060, mR-R01, Recorder Control; P/N 1313155-050, mR-P01, Power Supply; and System Test and Operation Validation. It is the intent of the Department of the Navy to award as a sole source to Ampex Data Systems Corporation, 500 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063-3119. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested parties may submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received.
