- Description
- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N62786-11-Q-JB01 applies. The solicitation, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20110623. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN, Bath, Maine intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Williston, VT under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the following Cable Assemblies: (1) P/N: 2910453-24 NSN 6150-01-261-5699, Qty: 1 Each; (2) P/N: 29104-53-3, NSN: 6150-01-261-5701, Qty: 1 Each; (3) P/N: 2910453-4, NSN: 6150-01-268-3264, Qty: 1 Each; (4) P/N: 2910453-5, NSN: 6150-01-261-5700, Qty: 1 Each; (5) P/N: 2910453-26, NSN: 6150-01-305-3592, Qty: 1 Each; (6) P/N: 2910453-7, NSN: 6150-01-266-7156, Qty: 1 Each; (7) P/N: 2910453-8, NSN: 6150-01-268-3265, Qty: 1 Each; (8) P/N: 2910453-9, NSN: 6150-01-264-7905, Qty: 1 Each; (9) P/N: 2910453-10, NSN: 6150-01-261-5690, Qty: 1 Each; (10) P/N: 5365254, NSN: 6150-01-255-1930, Qty: 1 Each; (11) Engineering Installation Support (labor and travel), Qty: 1 Lot. General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products is the original manufacturer of the required cables to replace damanged FCS cables on a DDG 51 Class Destroyer. Delivery is required within 14 days after award of order. This will be a firm-fixed price contract awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisitions. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
