- Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC), 601 East 12th Street, Room 1756, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. Provide renovation of some small rooms in the existing laboratory building into one new laboratory room at the Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research (CCEHBR) Laboratory located in Charleston, SC. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, CCEHBR Laboratory, Charleston, SC is in need of a Contractor that shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, testing devices, materials and material handling, security and accountability, and all items of expense necessary for the construction of Labs 227A and 227B except for: 1. Furnishing and installation of telephone equipment and outside plant wiring. All work shall be performed in conformance with applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations and permits. HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: Solicitation No. WC1330-11-RQ-0740, Renovation of Rooms 227A and 227B at CCEHBR Laboratory located in Charleston, SC and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on FedBizOpps (FBO) (www.fbo.gov). Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The solicitation will be available for download approximately July 13, 2011. For a copy of the solicitation, please utilize the FedBizOpps' feature "register to receive notification" as well as "register as an interested vendor". Upon release of the solicitation to the FBO for download, vendors who have registered to receive notification should receive an email from the FBO indicating its availability. Each potential vendor is responsible for checking this website often to obtain all current information associated with this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. The resultant procurement will be a firm fixed-price contract. This will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220. The size standard for Small Business is $33.5 million. The estimated price range of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Completion time for this project is approximately 240 days after the Notice to Proceed. All contractors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
