Labor rates & Contract clauses SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED PROPERTY OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY DO NOT REMOVE THIS NOTICE Properly destroy documents when no longer needed SPECIFICATIONS I. LOCATION: Media Distribution Division 1655 Woodson Rd. Overland, Missouri 63132 II. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to repair the sanitary sewer pipe and rain water system located on complex at various locations. Coordinate all work with GSA COR for access and scheduling. Locations of Work refer to drawings. See sheet 1 Location 1: Roof drain at north dock of Building 201. Jett out catch basin and clean out. Location 2: Remove and install new sanitary sewer line from manhole west for approximately 100'. a. Contractor must excavate area to the pipe, removing all debris and dispose of same. Excavation can be done during normal work hours. b. Contractor shall barricade work area to keep unauthorized personnel from area. c. Excavation may require the installation of shoring materials to comply with OSHA. Contractor must follow OHSA regulations. d. Contractor can not connect to building fire system for water supply. e. Contractor shall install new pipe connecting to existing and seal connections. Pipe installation will be done with no interruption of facilities services during normal work hours. f. Back fill with clean sand tamping/compacting every foot. Amount of sand shall be two feet above top of pipe. g. Complete fill with rock (1 inch minus) to six inches below existing surfaces. Tamp/compact every foot to avoid settling. h. Landscaped areas shall be finished to match adjacent surfaces, seed (grass shall be seeded using a system that dissolves as grass grows, not straw covering). Location 3: Backfill with top soil, seed with perennial grass and dissolvable coverage system. Location 4: Remove trees and root system from drain. Remove concrete access to drain and replace. Install new swale and jet clean storm line south of repairs. Location 5: Repair man hole brick work, mortar and seal inlet. Backfill area with top soil and seed with perennial grass and dissolvable coverage system. Location 6: Repair man hole brick work, mortar and seal inlet. Backfill area with top soil and seed with perennial grass and dissolvable coverage system. Location 7: Repair sink hole area. Replace approximately 30' of cracked pipe with reinforced cement pipe, encase new connection in concrete, backfill with top soil and seed with perennial grass and dissolvable coverage system. Location 8: Excavate, raise or replace inlet pipe, mortar and seal inlet pipe. Backfill area with top soil and seed with perennial grass and dissolvable coverage system. No location 9: See sheet 2 view 1 Location 44: Clean catch basin and jet out pipe between locations 44 & 12. Location 10. Clean catch basin and jet out pipe between locations 10 & 11. Verify pipe condition and report to Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR). Location 11: Clean catch basin and jet out pipe between locations 11 & 12. Verify pipe condition and report to COTR. Location 13: Remove and replace top of catch basin. Clean catch basin, jet out,repair and mortar discharge pipe. Clean and excavate area below discharge and 20' east and west of Location 13 fence line. Provide and install cement swale below location 13 to insure proper drainage. See Sheet 2 view 2 Location M 13: Repair collapsed pipe, man hole brick work, mortar and seal inlet. Back fill and seed area with perennial grass with dissolvable system. Location M 14: Clean out, reset and properly align top hat. Reconnect, seal and or replace roof discharge pipe from Manhole 14 to Building 109 footing. Grade area and reseed with perennial grass and dissolvable seeding system. Location M 15: Repair manhole, remove top 8 to 9 layers of brick and replace with new brick. Realign and position ladder rungs. III. SUMMARY: A. Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr.gov B. Contractor will use only personnel skilled in the trade they are working. All work will conform to standard trade practices and building standards. C. All employees shall complete history security forms and submit to the General Contractor. The forms are available to the General Contractor at our office on request. Prior to working on site employees must pass security clearance and then obtain a GSA photo ID. Photo ID can be obtained by appointment. Allow a minimum of two weeks for security clearance processing. The contractor is responsible for any cost incurred in completing these forms. Clearance must be issued to all employees that will work on the job site prior to starting the project. All contractors must present a valid ID issued by a government agency each workday. D. Contractor will follow all national and local codes, adhering to the most stringent. E. Contractor shall keep the work area neat and clean at all times. Barricade areas during construction and do not leave areas open overnight. F. All items that appear on either the specifications and or drawings shall be as appears on both. G. Contractor cannot use any government materials, equipment, to include trash containers. H. There is a NO SMOKING policy in any government building. Personnel smoking in the area will be barred from working on Federal Property and no compensation, of time or money will be granted. I. Contractor shall submit manufactures data sheets for all contractors provided materials for approval. J. Contractor shall submit "as built" drawings to the COR. K. Drawings are not to scale and contractor is responsible field verifying site condition and materials required to include quantity. L.
