Description
The Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) will be adding the four repairable items to the five year BOA with L-3 Communications, Salt Lake City, UT. Only one known source possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. This BOA provides repair coverage required to restore to serviceable operating conditions the components used in the AN/ARQ-59 Hawklink System in support of the H-60 Helicopter. The four repairable items are as follows: 1.NOMEN: Multiplexer Assembly, P/N: 60083550, NSN: 0RH 5895-01-592-6889 CB 2.NOMEN: Electronic (Radio) Frequency Converter, P/N: 60083551, NSN: 0RH 5895-01-592-6894 CB 3.NOMEN: Radio Frequency Amplifier, P/N: 60083552, NSN: 0RH 5895-01-592-6898 CB 4.NOMEN: Antenna Assembly, P/N: 60083554, NSN: 0RH 5895-01-592-6961 CB These items require Government Source Approval prior to award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the government for repair of these items has been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVICP Source Approval Brochure which can be obtained on the internet at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navicp/business_opps. Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the source approval brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of this requirement may be continued based on Fleet support needs. All contractual documents (i.e. contracts, purchase orders, task orders, delivery orders and modifications) related to the instant procurement are considered to be "issued" by the Government when copies are either deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic commerce methods, such as email. The Governments acceptance of the contractor ™s proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to "issue" contractual documents as detailed herein.
