- Formal communication related to this acquisition should be directed to Stephanie Hutchens, Contracting Officer. Fax or email your request to stephanie.a.hutchens@us.army.mil; fax number 256-955-8601. No telephone requests will be accepted. The Government has a requirement for the following: Noun: Cable Assembly, Spec; PRON: D11H4346D1; NSN: 6150-01-411-7087; PN: 11472482; Quantity: 22 each minimum/195 each maximum; 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type requirement, applicable to the Patriot Missile System. Required delivery is 22 each 150 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 6 each per month thereafter until contract completion. This item is limited to First Electronics Corporation with cage code (14532), WPI-Boston Division, Inc with cage code (33426), and CDM Electronics with cage code (42827) because the cost to the Government to breakout this part and acquire it competitively has been determined to exceed the projected savings over the life span of the part. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS DATA THAT CANNOT BE RELEASED EXCEPT TO GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. NO DOCUMENTATION IS BEING RELEASED WITH THIS SOLICITATION. ACQUISITION DOCUMENTATION IS SOLE SOURCE TO THE RESTRICTED SOURCE OF SUPPLY. Note 23 Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements are cited in each individual solicitation.
