- Draft PWS The Government is issuing this sources sought announcement as a market research survey for a Safe Drinking Water Project Manager. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government; this is not a Request for Proposal nor Request for Quote. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the Respondent and will NOT be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Scope of Work: The purpose of this work effort is to provide management and operations of the Safe Drinking Water Program for Kadena AB and all military housing units in various areas in Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall perform and manage various safe drinking water tasks, to include performing water sampling in various locations in Okinawa, complete chain of custody, ship water samples to laboratory for analysis, prepare annual sampling and analysis budget, and conduct annual vulnerability assessment review. Contractors shall enter Safe Drinking Water sampling results and data in the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS).
