Description

Provide all materials, labor, tools and equipment to replace an existing alternating drainfield, septic tank and pump lift station. The new alternating drainfields will be constructed using gravelless chambers topped with drainfield gravel. This project is set-aside for a small business. Small business size standard is $33.5 M. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110. Cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Type of award will be a firm-fixed price construction. The Davis-Bacon Act for wage determinations will apply. The solicitation along with attachments will be issued electronically and downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 13, 2011. No hard copies will be issued. A site visit is scheduled for July 19, 2011, 10:00 AM at Homestead National Monument of America, 8523 West State Highway 4, Beatrice, NE. Prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov to receive an award.
