Description
DAVIS BACON WAGE DETERMINATION CAN BE UPLOADED FROM WWW.DOL.GOV The U. S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), located in Narragansett, RI, requires the replacement lighting and ceiling in Room 11 of the Main Building. General Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment and material required to properly install the new drop type ceiling grid and tiles below the existing ceiling and install new 2'X 2' light fixtures with LED U-Bent bulbs. The new ceiling shall be 2'X 2' black suspended grid and 2'X 2' fire rated angled tegular white tiles. Tile style shall be selected by the customer from samples supplied from the contractor). The Style for the ceiling tiles is called (#1774 Dune / Sahara) white in color. Contractor shall remove all existing 4' fluorescent fixtures from ceiling prior to removing existing 12"X 12" ceiling tiles. The Contractor shall remove all existing 12" X 12" glue fastened ceiling tiles from the sheetrock ceiling. No penetrations shall be made in the existing sheetrock ceiling as it is part of the sealed encapsulated asbestos system. Screws shall be applied into structural ceiling system for support of the new suspended type ceiling grid and light fixtures. The contractor shall install a heavy duty commercial type grid system that shall be black in color and supported to the original ceiling structural members by heavy gauge wire and eye screws. Contractor shall install ceiling in an evenly measured pattern so new ceiling fits with the new 2'X 2' fluorescent light fixtures that shall be installed in the same location as the removed 4' fluorescent light fixtures. Completion time for this project is 45 calendar days after award. This is a total small business set-aside. Estimated Construction cost is between $0 to $25,000.00. Award will be made based on best value to the government. The Request for Quotation documents will be available on or about June 29, 2011 and can be uploaded from this website. This service is being procured under the guidelines of Far Part 36 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Eastern Region, Acquisition Management Division (ERAD), requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
