- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. IDAHO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD W912J7-11-T-000012 Request For Quote for Prepared Meals for the period of 17 July - 20 July 2011 and 25 July -29 July 2001 for 350 Service Members This request for quote (RFQ) is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 722310 and the size standard is less than 7 Million. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50, Effective 15 April 2011. Offerors quotes shall propose a firm fixed price for all meals listed below subject to the terms and conditions of this entire synopsis/solicitation. Questions must be received NLT Tuesday, 5 July 2011 in order to provide ample time to publish those answers which are considered necessary for all offerors. Synopsis: The contractor shall provide the following meals: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Idaho Army National Guard will provide a military dining facility building 212. The facility has limited refrigeration and freezer space. The Guard does have a facility building 513 in which the contractor can use to store refrigeration and freezer it is located approximately ½ mile away. The facility has no milk dispenser. All food must be prepared in accordance with Idaho Central District Health regulations. The contractor must provide all the subsistence, cleaning supplies, and personnel to feed 350 service members. Meal times Breakfast: 6:30 am Lunch: 11:30 am Dinner: 5:00 pm Meals for 350 service members Dinner 17 July 2011 Grilled Hamburgers or cheeseburgers, potatoes chips, pork and beans relish tray (onions, olive, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, green salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian), hamburger buns, chilled fruit, cookies, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee, tea, and beverage base drink. July 18 2011 Breakfast Chilled tomato juice, Assorted dry cereal, Bananas, English muffin, Sausage patties, Scrambled Eggs and cheese, Hashed brown potatoes, Jam, jelly, butter, assorted breads, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. Lunch Baked Turkey and noodle, ginger glazed Carrots, green salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian) assorted breads with butter, strawberry shortcake, whipped topping, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. Dinner Beef stroganoff, steamed rice, corn, green salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian) assorted bread with butter, blueberry crunch, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. July 19 2011 Breakfast Chilled orange juice, apples, assorted dry cereal, eggs to order, hashed browns, biscuits and sausage gravy, assorted breads with butter, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. Lunch Savory baked chicken, oven brown potatoes, buttered broccoli, macaroni salad, assorted bread and butter, green salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian)banana cream pudding, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. Dinner Yankee Pot Roast, brown gravy, horseradish sauce, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, green salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian) assorted bread and butter, cherry crunch, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. July 20 2011 Breakfast Chilled apple juice, assorted dry cereal, bananas, French toast with syrup, oven fried bacon, white and wheat toast with butter, Jam, jelly, butter, assorted breads, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee, cocoa. Dinner Oven fried chicken, cream gravy, mashed potatoes, buttered green beans, cabbage, apple and celery salad, assorted bread with butter, white cake, cherry jubilee sauce, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink. July 25 2011 Dinner Grilled Steak Dinner, Baked Potatoes, sour cream, corn on the cob, tossed vegetable salad with dressings (ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island low fat Italian) French bread and butter, chocolate brownies, milk (white and chocolate 2%) coffee tea, and beverage base drink.
