- The VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity (NCA) has a requirement for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Design-Build Construction Services. The VISN 22 NCA includes work performed for the following Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC): "5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 "11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073 "16111 Plummer St., North Hills, CA 91343 "11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA 92537 "3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161 The overall contract work shall consist of but not limited to the following general project categories: Construction, repair and alteration of various facilities; interior and exterior renovations, heating and air-conditioning, HVAC controls, plumbing, fire suppression, interior and exterior electrical and lighting, fire and intrusion alarms, communications, utilities and electrical infrastructure, site-work, landscaping, fencing, masonry, roofing, concrete, asphalt paving, painting, storm drainage, limited environmental remediation, construction of new facilities, demolition of facilities, and other related work. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on or about Thursday, July 14, 2011, at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors will search for solicitation VA-262-11-RP-0082 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SIGHT FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. Proposal submission will require five (5) hard copies AND one (1) electronic copy (CD-ROM). A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit shall be held, date/time/location to be provided with the solicitation. NAICS: 236220. This contract will have a base award period of performance not-to-exceed 1 year and four one-year option periods. The total contract period, including options, shall not exceed five (5) years. The estimated overall value of the contract is not-to-exceed $400,000,000.00 over five (5) years. Offerors must be listed as "verified" in the Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov, currently registered on Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov, and have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. This acquisition is solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Award for MATOC will be based on issuing of a seed project utilizing the procedures in accordance with FAR 15, Best Value Trade-off Process resulting in IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract.
