- 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals for Mountain Home, Idaho, Courier Contract for Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (BVAMC) Boise, ID. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA-260-11-RQ-0888. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 492110, Courier and Express Delivery Services, and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. This procurement is restricted. Only small businesses may provide quotations. 3. The intended contract period is a base year plus four (4) one-year option years. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 5 July 2011, and the anticipated closing date is 19 July 2011. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (492110) is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of quotations.
