- CLARIFICATION POSTED ON JULY 1, 2011 The original posting of Question #7 listed an incorrect reference. The correction is as follows: 7. Will this software support Electronic Information Management Standards - DoD 5015.2 requirements? ************************************************************************************************************** Reference Explanation Although the Division of Select Agents and Toxins does not work to DOD standards, NARA Bulletin 2003-03 states the following: This bulletin advises agencies that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) endorses version 2 of the Department of Defense Electronic Records Management Software Application Design Criteria Standard (DoD 5015.2-STD, June 2002) for use by all Federal agencies. ************************************************************************************************************** The government declines to answer vendor technical questions in an effort not to bias vendor input. As stated in the RFI "The sole purpose of this RFI is to assist CDC in understanding the solution provider landscape, identify good ideas and strategies, and avoid solicitation or contracting parameters which would be detrimental to CDC's mission or industry's ability to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions. CDC does not plan to respond back to companies that submit responses to this RFI except perhaps to ask a clarifying question regarding a response provided." The response date for this RFI is extended to July 12, 2011 at 2:00pm (Eastern) to accomodate any revisions to responses that this clarification may require.
