- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for courier services to be provided between the VA Medical Center (VAMC), Kansas City, MO and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Warrensburg, MO; Belton, MO; Nevada, MO; Cameron, MO; Excelsior Springs, MO; Paola, KS; and Overland Park, KS and return to the VAMC Kansas City each workday. In addition contractor shall be required to provide courier services, when requested 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Contractor shall provide all labor, vehicles, equipment and personnel to transport laboratory specimens and supplies. Contract will be for a base period of one year, anticipated to begin April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012 with option to renew 4 additional one year periods. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Please note SDVOSB Awardees must be registered and listed as Verified in VIP (http://www.verbiz.gov). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on technical factors, price and past performance in accordance with the evaluation procedures of the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about February 16, 2011. Due Date for receipt of offers is March 17, 2011, 2:00 p.m. (local time). Anticipated award date is March 28, 2010.
