- **POC's and Response date have changed. Solicitation is posted with a response date of July 11, 2011 10:00 AM EST. POC is: Janie Laferty** The Department of Commerce, National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service, Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research, Charleston, SC has a requirement for all labor, equipment and materials necessary to provide annual maintenance agreement for HVAC/ Walk In Freezer/Coolers/Environmental Rooms and to include troubleshooting and service calls as described in the Statement of Work provided with the solicitation. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is September 28, 2011 through September 27, 2012 with three (3) one year option periods. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about July 8, 2011. The applicable NAICS number is 238220 and the small size standard is $14.0 million. The Federal Supply Class is J045. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small business. The request for quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
