- This contract is for the reclamation of the EARL MARTIN LS II PH III emergency project located in DRIFT, FLOYD COUNTY, KY. The anticipated work consists of: Mobilization and demobilization of contractor's men, equipment, materials, and the placing of a project sign and toilet facilities at the project site. Abatement work will consist of five major elements: Clearing and grubbing; excavation and regarding of landslide material to a stable configuration; the removal of mud and debris from roadways and yards; repair and installation of drainage facilities; and restoration of all disturbed areas after all work has been completed. A detailed description of the work required can be found in Attachment III, Technical Specifications, of this solicitation announcement. The estimated cost range is $20,000.00 to $60,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 7/8/2011 @ 11:00 AM. Perspective contractors are to meet at the the McDonald's Restaurant located at the junction of Rt. 80 and Rt. 122 at Martin, KY. Bids will be opened on-site following the pre-bid conference at the time announced by the Contracting Officer. ATTENDANCE AT THE PRE-BID MEETING AND ON-SITE BID OPENING ARE MANDATORY. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with completed Section K "Reps and Certs" and the "AML Contractor Information Form" are also required. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
