Description
Small Business Sources Sought: This is not a request for proposal. This is a Small Business Sources Sought announcement seeking only Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business participation in the acquisition. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541620 (Environmental Consulting Services) with a size standard of 7.0 Million dollars. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum intends to procure Sustainable Range Program (SRP) and Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) support services located at Fort Drum, NY under a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The ITAM program consists of five major components: (1) Training Requirements Integration, (2) Sustainable Range Awareness, (3) Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance, (4) Range and Training Land Assessment, and (5) Geographic Information Systems. The anticipated period of performance is likely to be a base period of twelve (12) months and two (2) one-year option periods. Responses are limited to 10 pages and should include the following: Small business status, for example, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned. Revenue for the last three years. Relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last three years and the company's capability to do this type of work. Any niche work or specialty capabilities that are highly sought after. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought inquiry articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. The information should be sent to MICC Fort Drum no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 15 July 2011, ATTN: Joshua Kaufmann, Contract Specialist, Bldg T-45 West Street Fort Drum, NY 13602.
