- The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified vendors that can provide Warranty Support of 17 FASTLANE devices to JTF GTMO from 14SEP11 to 13SEP12. The current infrastructure of the JTF-GTMO network consists of 17 FASTLANE encryption devices located at all major facilities and network nodes. A failure of this ATM network would severely impact the JTF GTMO mission operations. Below are the government's desired capabilities for FASTLANE Warranty Support: Desired Capabilities: 1.Telephone Support: 09:00-17:00 EST 2.Hardware Support: repair or replace 3.Licensed Software Support: to include all patches and upgrades 4.Return Shipment Policy: vendor shall ship all returned repaired or replaced equipment back to the government's designated location at the vendor's expense 5.Serial numbers to be supported: 5834, 6272, 8167, 8211, 8190, 8200, 8183, 8198, 6320, 6903, 6231, 8203, 6265, 10189,10204,10169,10212 All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company's capabilities including vendor's name/address/point of contact identification, past experience, business status (large, small, small disadvantaged, disabled veteran, 8(a) concern, women-owned small, HUB zone small business, etc.) Any vendor responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the vendor's qualifications to provide the service/product. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. All capability statements sent in response to this Request for Information notice must be submitted, electronically (via email), to michael.a.mignano@jtfgtmo.southcom.mil. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please submit them in writing no later than 21 JUL 2011.
