- In accordance with FAR Part 5, this notice is being posted to advise the General Public of the following: The Department of the Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD), on behalf of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), intends to negotiate a sole-source acquisition to CreditSights Inc. for access to the CreditSights website using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in (FAR Part 13). CreditSights is an independent research provider that integrates debt and equity research into a single view across a company's entire capital structure. CreditSights also offers increased linkages in the capital markets across different asset classes. Their traditional credit work coupled with their credit -informed perspective on equities offers an invaluable tool for insights into capital market developments. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon any written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Other Information: Electronic submissions, in response to this Notice, shall reference SS-OCC-11-0061 and be sent to the attention of Gillian Russell via e-mail to psb3@bpd.treas.gov. Electronic submissions must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. ET, Thursday July 13, 2011. Please note that an RFQ document is not available at this time.
