- Description
- 1. The System must be mobile and have a means to deploy, recover and secure/store an "inflated" blimp. The storage of an inflated blimp is important because it saves a considerable amount of set up time and helium costs due to not having to re-inflate the blimp after each use. Storage time defined as 24-36 hours. 2. When airborne the blimp is required to be connected via a 4 or 5 point harnessing system that maintains the tethered line and attached instrumentation as close to vertical as possible. 3. The tethered system is required to be interchangeable with our current tethered system with minimal lost of efficiency by the cross-functional teams trained on the operation of this equipment.
