Description
THIS PROJECT IS AVAILABLE TO SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. REHABILITATE TWO WELLS, JACKSON NATIONAL FISH HATCHERY (NFH), TETON COUNTY, WYOMING 1.01 WORK INCLUDEDA. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to rehabilitate Wells No. 3 and No. 4. Rehabilitation will include inspection services and limited repair/replacement of components as described in the specifications.B. Contractor shall inspect the existing well system components for Wells No. 3 and 4. The inspection shall include, but not be limited to: downhole camera inspection and condition assessment of the well bore, casings, and screens; inspection of pump columns, shafts, and bowls; pump testing including incremental head capacity test. The Contractor shall prepare, and submit to the Contracting Officer, a written condition assessment report with repair recommendations.C. Contractor shall rehabilitate/clean the borehole, including the casing and screen for Well No. 3 and 4, assuming that rehabilitation can be successfully accomplished with physical and/or chemical cleaning of the well bore. D. Contractor shall provide recommendations to the C.O. concerning the need for more extensive rehab work, such as replacement of casings, screens, installation of gravel pack, re-development of wells, etc. The C.O. will determine if this work is eligible for inclusion under a Contract Modification.E. Contractor shall disassemble, inspect, and repair the other well system components, including the pump motors, columns, shafts, and bowls for both wells, to the extent defined in the specifications. The Contractor shall provide recommendations to the C.O. concerning the need for more extensive rehab work, such as replacement of the other well system components. The C.O. will determine if this work is eligible for inclusion under a Contract Modification. 1.02 LOCATION OF SITEA. Project Location: the project site is the Jackson National Fish Hatchery, located near Jackson, Wyoming. Refer to the specifications drawings for a vicinity map and site plan of the area. The Hatchery Manager may be contacted at 307-733-2510. B. Contractor is urged to visit the site and become familiar with existing conditions. Failure to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $30,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is offered as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the size standard is $33.5 Million.
