- a.Description of Work: Vendor will provide simulation training for Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) Denver Colorado staff utilizing high fidelity human patient simulators. Vendor will accomplish this by providing: 1.Consultation services to tailor existing clinical scenarios to ECHCS protocols or to develop new curriculum 2.Training for simulation instructors in all aspects of high fidelity simulation, including history, simulation resources, scenario writing, technical considerations, creating reality, and debriefing. 3.High fidelity human patient simulators along with a simulation technician to run scenarios during training 4.Training located at ECHCS or vendor simulation center Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 6 pm. 5.Training for approximately 300 employees per year b.Schedule of Deliverables: 1.Event one will be 52 hours of sepsis scenario to be taught during the period of nine days occurring TBA 2.Vendor to provide an eight-hour faculty development workshop for instructors prior to the start of facility training. 3.Further events may be scheduled based on feedback received from initial sepsis learning event. 4.Reports: n/a c.Contractor Qualifications: Vendor will be able to provide expertise in computer-driven high fidelity manikins and scenario development and provide a technician competent in the following simulator platforms: Gaumard, Laerdal, and METI. Vendor should also be able to provide special simulation courses such as the American Association Critical-Care Nurses Critical Care Course and other simulation software such as the VH Dissector. Vendor training center should be capable for audio and visual recording for events occurring at the vendor location. VI. Government Furnished Property: Government will supply all disposable items needed to replicate patient care setting to vendor. Examples of this include: intravenous fluid bags and tubing, foley catheters, and oxygen tubing.
