Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Beckley, West Virginia, is seeking potential sources capable of providing life safety code survey to assure compliance with the most current NFPA Codes Services at the VAMC located in Beckley, WV. The contractor shall be licensed and certified in the state of West Virginia and a history of safely providing inspections, documentation and training to assure facility codes are current and within state and federal requirements. The contractor shall conform to all Federal, State and local regulations governing building inspections, surveys and life safety code compliance. The contractor will provide training as needed. All work is to be completed within five days after award. The contractor is to provide all tools, equipment, personnel and management to complete this one time Life Safety Code Survey requirement. The contractor shall perform services while not adversely affect patient or employee health or productivity during normal operating hours 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The period of performance is a week in the month of July, 2011 (or until service is complete). The applicable NAICS Code is 541690 / Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services / size standard $7.0Mil. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing Life Safety Code Survey Services within the VAMC in a professional setting and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement.
