- Amendment 0001-Solicitation Clarification Question and Responses AMENDMENT 0001- July 12, 2011 The Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide clarification Questions and Responses, in accordance with L.7 311-6 CLARIFICATION QUESTIONS (APRIL 1998). ************************************************************ SOLICITATION NOTICE - June 21, 2011 The U.S. Department of Education releases solicitation number ED-IES-11-R-0054 for the "Study of Promising Teacher Preparation Programs". The National Center For Education Evaluation (NCEE) of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) within the U.S. Department of Education intends to award a contract to evaluate the relative impact on teacher practices and student achievement of teachers who choose different methods of teacher preparation and the relationship between their relative impacts and differences in teacher preparation.
