Description
Solicitation Subcontractor to provide all materials, tools, labor and equipment as specified by the scope of work. Subcontractor is to provide and replace the compressor on refrigerant system #1 on chiller 03-HVC-CHIL-900-SC. Return the failed compressor to the manufacturer. York Chiller Model YCAS0300EC46XFADB, Serial RGKM000947. Subcontractor to provide a new compressor motor contactor. Subcontractor to provide a new compressor crank case heater. Subcontractor to provide three (3) new compressor motor fuses. Subcontractor to remove and dispose of refrigerant as required by the EPA. Estimate and record on the work order the quantity of refrigerant removed in pounds (lbs). Subcontractor to remove and dispose of refrigerant oil as required by the EPA. Estimate and record on the work order the quantity of refrigerant oil removed in gallons. Subcontractor to provide and install new refrigerant oil filters. Subcontractor to provide and install new refrigerant oil, York type "L', quantity per manufacturer's specifications. Subcontractor to provide and install new refrigerant filter driers. Subcontractor to provide and install new refrigerant R-22 of type and quantity required, 203 lbs per manufacturer's equipment tag. Subcontractor to function test chiller 03-HVC-CHIL-900-SC for like new operation once repair is complete and chiller is ready for operation. In one week's time, subcontractor is to replace the refrigerant oil and oil filter with new and perform an acid test. If the acid test is marginal or unsatisfactory, precede using good engineering practices for contaminated refrigerant / refrigerant oil. All work is to be completed using good engineering practices for the replacement of a burnt compressor. Note: Any items identified as needing replacement outside of this scope of work will require a modification to the scope and need to be discussed with Engineering and the Subcontract Administrator. Questions Regarding Scope General questions and questions regarding contractual matters, payments, site access or required training shall be directed to Ashley Rollins @ 256-238-0721ext. 131. Technical questions and / or concerns shall be addressed by Mark Shoemaker through the Subcontract Administrator via e-mail. Post Maintenance Testing (PMT) Verify with Process Coordinator that 03-HVC-CHIL-900-SC is operational in a like new condition.
