- F-22 AN/APG-77(v)1 AESA Radar Depot Activation 1. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to conduct market research and determine if any firm has the capability to complete an F-22 AN/APG-77(v)1 AESA Radar System Depot Activation seamlessly without impact to the supply chain within a 4 year period of performance beginning in 2013. The following effort would be required for activation: • Develop an activation plan • Develop automatic test solution for troubleshooting complex electronic systems down to a minimal number of potential failures • Provide tooling, facility design, material lay-in, contractor/depot roles and responsibilities, and concept of operations • Establish Technical Manuals for test equipment and repair procedures • Train depot technicians on repairing Depot Level Repairables (DLR) • Validate supply lines for DLRs in and out of the depot • Establish Depot as a certified repair center for AN/APG-77(v)1 AESA Radar System 2. BACKGROUND: The F-22 is ending production and transitioning into sustainment. As a result and to meet Title 10 50/50 and Core requirements, the F-22 SPO is establishing Public-Private Partnerships for component repair at government electronics repair facilities. The F-22 SPO has designated 33 AN/APG-77(v)1 AESA Radar System DLRs as a potential activation at WR-ALC, GA. 3. INFORMATION/FORMAT: Potential comments are requested regarding this activation effort to support the F-22 AN/APG-77(v)1 AESA Radar System Depot Activation, and should include: • Company name and associated CAGE code • Point of contact name and number • Business status (8(a), Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, etc.) • Activation plan that provides milestones demonstrating the Contractor's capability to complete work within a 4 year period of performance or less beginning in calendar year 2013 • Provide details of direct experience with radar systems and provide contract numbers and cognizant Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) contact information 4. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS: Please submit two copies of your comments to the Sources Sought Synopsis in an executive summary format not to exceed five (5) pages. If your response includes information you consider proprietary, please mark the information in accordance with regulatory guidance. Please do not include company brochures or other marketing information. This is a sources sought synopsis only, not a request for proposals (RFP), and this is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse any respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response.
