- Company Cage Code Validation Sheet This notice is the official acquisition notice previously posted under solicitation number HHM402-11-R-0014. The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) intends to release a solicitation for a competitive Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Task Orders containing multiple Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and other types of Task Orders as appropriate for various professional services with TS/SCI cleared personnel. In accordance with FAR Part 15.201, Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt Of Proposals, the Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is pleased to provide copies of the DRAFT solicitation for the Solutions for Intelligence Analysis (SIA) II. This solicitation is provided to assist prospective offerors in the planning and development of proposals for future submission pending release of the final Request for Proposal (RFP). The information in this draft solicitation is subject to change prior to release of the final RFP. The final RFP is scheduled to be released on or about 5 August 2011. The North American Industry Classification Code is 541990. It is the responsibility of the prospective contractors to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. VACA is encouraging industry input, comments, and questions from all interested firms. The purpose of exchanging information is to identify and resolve concerns regarding the acquisition and to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. Copies of this draft RFP will be automatically issued to those firms that received the first draft in May 2011 beginning Wednesday 13 July, 2011. All other interested firms shall provide the required information in the attached spreadsheet and email directly to Allison.Richards@dia.mil prior to obtaining a copy of the draft solicitation. Upon security validation of the information provided, an email copy or CD copy will be made available. Arrangements shall be made in the email request on the preferred method of delivery. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of any contract. You may register at www.ccr.gov. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. The Government will not award a purchase order or contract based upon vendor responses to this announcement. The Government does not assume any costs associated with obtaining the draft solicitation documents or industry responses to the draft solicitation documents.
