Description
The following requirements must be delivered test-ready to Aberdeen Test Center, Aberdeen, MD NLT 30 days after contract award: 1.)RTCH Crew Protection Kits (CPKs): Contractor shall deliver two (2) test-ready CPKs that meet lift points requirements of MIL-STD-209K for crane lift. 2.)Transparent Armor Test Coupons: The contractor shall deliver sixteen (16) transparent armor test coupons (400mm x 400mm x thickness) and coupons shall be fully representative of the transparent armor in the prototype CPKs. 3.)RTCH CPK Spare Door: The contractor shall deliver one (1) spare CPK Door 4.)RTCH Sling Lift Attachment (SLA): The contractor shall deliver one (1) sling lift attachment for evaluation including all required accessories and operating instructions. Shipment: All required hardware shall be packaged and shipped in accordance with best commercial practice for ensuring safe delivery to Aberdeen Proving Ground with the following exception. One complete CPK shall be packed and shipped in a reusable container suitable for intermodal transport (e.g., TRICON, QUADCON) for delivery to ATC. The CPK in the container shall be transportable through the Army logistics system to include multiple handlings, outside storage and transport in highway, air, water and rail modes. The CPK as packed in the container shall withstand a rail impact test. The contractor shall coordinate with the Aberdeen Test Center test director. Negotiations will be conducted on a sole source basis with Kalmar RT Center LLC for an estimated value of $61,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The estimated offer due date is July 28, 2011.
