Description

J&A This is a Notice of Intent to make a Sole Source award under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Other Then Full and Open Competition, to Americom Technology, Inc., Murray, Utah to reconfigure and upgrade existing fiber optic network without violating existing warranties or infringing on proprietary elements of the fiber optic infrastructure currently in place at Camp Williams Utah. Americom Technology, Inc. has the working knowledge of Camp Williams since 1986 and will ensure a complete working system essential to the mission at the training site. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Certified firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Diane Johnson in writing via e-mail at diane.n.johnson@us.army.mil by 4:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on 19 July 2011. All responses from qualified sources will be fully considered and responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No extensions will be granted.
