- The U. S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries located in Narragansett, RI. The requirements of this project include furnishing all labor and materials necessary to remove old T-111 siding, all 2"X 4" framing and install new framing and 4' x 8' x ½" T-111 siding on two (2) sides of an office which measures 25' long X 10' Deep X 10' high. Also this work requires a General Contractor to complete drop ceiling inside of office and all lighting shall be replaced. This contract requires a General Contractor that shall be responsible for all work required for the demo of existing exterior and interior walls, all electrical wall outlets and switches, removal of old ceiling and light fixtures and all work required to install new ceiling and all new electrical light fixtures, outlets and wall switches. The General contractor shall be responsible to insure that the electrical contractor be a Rhode Island licensed electrician. It shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to bring into the job a qualified licensed electrician. Completion time for this project is 30 calendar days after award. This is a total small business set-aside. Estimated Construction cost is between $0 to $25,000.00. Award will be made based on best value to the government. The Request for Quotation documents will be available in approximately 10 calendar days after this posting and can be uploaded from this website. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This service is being procured under the guidelines of Far Part 36 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Eastern Region, Acquisition Management Division (ERAD), requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
