- The NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced Purchase Order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR Part 13 rules. Solicitation number RFQ-IL-11-00119 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). DESCRIPTION: LC-MS/MS Nitrogen Generation System (Peak Scientific or equivalent), and installation in support of U.S. EPA's Chicago Regional Laboratory (CRL) mission. Technical Specifications listed below: Item 1) Quantity 1: GENERATOR NM240L-DUAL VOLTAGE 100-240VAC Nitrogen generator for LC/MS applications provides up to 240 L/min. Unit is not allowed internal compressors. Input compressed air requirements are clean (max particle size: 1 micron), dry (Dew point: 37°F), oil-free (oil vapor content <5mg per cubic meter), pressure min. 120psi to max. 145psi, and flow 720 L/min (for max output of 240 L/min). Item 2) Quantity 1: SEQ2007-HP POWEREX COMPRESSOR PACKAGE Powerex quadplex scroll enclosed compressor system: SEQ2007-HP Specifications: Output: 36.3 CFM @ 145 psi (1028 L/min) Dimensions: L38"x W26"x H47" Noise: 56dB(A) Electrical: 460V 3 phase System Includes: Electric drain 120 Gallon epoxy lined ASME tank with saftey valve, drain,and pressure gauge Refrigerated Dryer (35-38 degrees F dew point) Coalescing filter 1 Micron Starter and Aftercooler included Item 3) Quantity 1: Installation Nitrogen Generator Installation: Installation by certified service engineer. Must includes all labor, travel, and connections within laboratory. Item 4) Quantity 50 TUBING SILVER 10mm x 50M 50 Meters of Poly tubing for laboratory piping. Quote must include all drops, connections, and fittings Item 5) Quantity 1 Installation: SET1507-HP Powerex Compressor (or equivalent) installed by a certified vendor including labor and materials to place new equipment, and provide air line piping to connect to components above, with 3 valve maintenance bypass around dryer and filter. Estimate assuming the availability of suitable lifting equipment at the job site, clear work area, and free from interference from other trades. Electrical work by others. Air piping by others from the mechanical room to the laboratory not included. REQUIRED DELIVERY and INSTALLATION: 30 Days ARO QUOTES ARE DUE BY: July 19, 2011. AWARD: The selection resulting from this request for quotation will be made on the basis of the lowest priced technically acceptable quote with acceptable past performance from a responsible contractor. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
