Description
Whiteman AFB, MO has a requirement for a firm fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for various pavement preservation type projects. Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment necessary to accomplish these tasks. Projects may include, but are not limited to: - All work is to be pursuant to the IDIQ contract titled Pavement Preservation Contract. - Contractor shall determine street applicability pursuant to IDIQ Pavement Preservation Contract guidelines and Contractor expertise. - Clean and seal cracks and road prior to application. - Apply polymer emulsion approved by the engineer in accordance with IDIQ contract specifications. - Apply uniform coating of aggregate in accordance with IDIQ and approved by engineer. - Immediate rolling of aggregate with pneumatic-tired roller. No fewer than three passes. - Full coverage necessary before emulsion cures or cools. Curing of emulsion break should begin just after first roller pass and brooming shall not occur until at least 80% cure, and all work incidental thereto; all in accordance with specifications. The period of performance for this IDIQ contract will be for a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The request for proposal will be solicited as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The maximum contract value shall not exceed $2M, over the five year period. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page; paper copies will not be made available. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. The solicitation is anticipated to be available 28 Jul 2011. It is your responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities web page for changes to this announcement.
