Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806, on behalf of the Fire Control Branch of the Quality Engineering & Systems Assurance Directorate is contemplating the award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) by the U.S. Government. This directorate has a requirement to maintain weapon system readiness by being proactive in finding and solving obsolete electric components for the systems we support. This is accomplished by performing obsolescence analysis. Interested sources should be capable of providing the U.S. Government with potential database access to perform obsolescence analysis. The following are requirements for the analysis: Obsolescence management and environmental compliance (material content) tool Single Part Look-up search and compare Parametric Search Second Source and Alternate mapping Lifecycle Availability analysis and forecast Bill of Material upload / risk analysis Automated Proactive PCN/PDN Alert Notification Restriction of Hazard Substance (RoHS) Compliance information Full Material Disclosure on Components Material Declaration Reporting Capabilities China RoHS label Generator REACH SVHC identification and trackingNo Bill Of Material (BOM) or part number count limitations48hr Part Look-up Service and Unlimited training for use of the database. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements as a result of this notice. TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email only. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following point of contact: U.S. Contracting Command, Attn.: Tara Henderson, ACC-PICA-JA, Bldg. 45C, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, email: tara.henderson2@us.army.mil. The Government will not be issuing a formal Request for proposal (RFP) because the instrument contemplated for award is a Blanket Purchase Agreement. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice. This synopsis is open to all business concerns. However, in accordance with FAR 19.501 our intent is to establish BPAs with small businesses. In the event there arent enough responses from responsible, capable small businesses, then large business responses will be accepted.
