Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Packet Forensics, LLC. Located at 420 S. Smith Road, Tempe, AZ 85281 for the acquisition of annual maintenance of lawful intercept hardware and software on seven (7) Packet Forensics Network Appliances. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511. The business size standard is $25 million. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is July 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
