- DESCRIPTION The McClellan Park Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice to set-aside 100% Small Businesses with preference given to Veteran Owned Small Businesses that can provide Removal and Disposal of Class A and Class B Radioactive Waste Services for the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, California. The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and transportation to pick up, transport and dispose radioactive waste. Contractor must have current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Federal licenses for the State of California to include disposal site state license/certification required for this type of service. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on/about Oct 1, 2011 through Sep 30, 2012 with four option years. The NAICS is 562211and the size standard is $12.5 million. The Solicitation number is VA-261-11-RP-0617 and will be posted on/about July 18, 2011. Interested firms should email their interest to leala.jew@va.gov. Provide the following information: Name of the Company, POC name, phone numbers (Lan line and cell), email address, and CCR/DUNS number. To receive preference as a VOSB, these vendors must be registered and certified in the VetBiz website - http://vip.vetbiz.gov/ otherwise uncertified VOSB will be considered as a Small Business. Recommend all eligible vendors to wait for the issuance of the Solicitation document to view the requirements, Statement of Work, and any other documents associated with the solicitation. Due date and time for submission of the proposal will be indicated on the SF1449 line item 8.
