- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-RP-11-0319 for the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide Complete Cemetery Ground Maintenance Services at six National Cemeteries located within the Richmond National Cemetery Complex, Richmond, Virginia. Services provided under this contract shall include the following: Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Aeration & Over-Seeding, Trash & Debris Removal, Interment Services, Headstone Setting, Headstone Raise and Realign, Headstone Cleaning, Refilled Graves, set-up for Funeral Services, Snow and Ice Removal. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $7.0 million. No telephone requests will be accepted. No electronic proposals will be accepted. Any questions should be sent via email and addressed to Erma Keown, Contract Specialist in writing at erma.keown@va.gov. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about August 12, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 9, 2011. No electronic or facsimile proposals will be accepted. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
