- Sources Sought for Commercial Procurement of EGI Receiver for the Short Range Recovery USCG aircraft. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of commercially available vendors that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard. The USCG, Aviation Logistics Center, is conducting market research to determine providers of supplies for the following item: 1. Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) Receiver, P/N: 34209200-RJAD-001; Software, P/N HG9869N-001, Qty-4. Responses to this notice should include cage code, company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC). The applicable NAICS code is 336413 with a size standard of 1000 employees. After the review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, a solicitation announcement will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis. Again, this is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. This notice is to help the USCG in determining potential sources only. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Responses to this sources sought notice should be submitted by email to luis.mojica@uscg.mil include the following subject line "HSCG38-11-Q-200140-SS." NO LATER than 15 July 2011.
