Description

Sole Source Justification Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR), located in Folsom, CA intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to Alstom Grid Inc., 10865 Willows RD NE, Redmond, WA 98052-2502 in order to provide support for WAPA's requirement of Consulting Services in support of the Alstom Dispatch Training Simulator. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 with a size standard of $25 million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements must be received by no later than July 25, 2011 and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be posted.
