- Description
- NASA/GRC has a requirement for a HIGH RESOLUTION FAR-INFRARED RADIATIONTHERMOGRAPHY SYSTEM. Specifications: Required a high resolution far-infrared radiation (IR) thermographysystem with a detecting IR wavelength range of 8-12 microns for NASA laboratory test rigsneeded to achieve improved component temperature testing capabilities under complexcombustion and film-cooling conditions. The main 8 - 12 micron infrared radiation cameraimage sensor shall have a 640 x 480 pixel high resolution, with a high temperature optionto be able to measure the specimen or component temperatures up to 2000C (3632F). TwoInfrared lenses shall be included in this camera system purchase: one lens shall have afocal length of 37.6 mm, with a close minimum focus distance of 0.4 m (15.7 inches), andthe other lens shall have a 76 mm focal length and telephoto capability, with a closeminimum focus distance of 1.2 m (3.9 ft), and 12 degrees field of view for small samplearea high temperature measurements. The thermography IR camera shall be able tocontrolled using a PC with a fast frame rate (30 Hz) operation. Shall include anyrequired software. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice.
