- NSN 5975-01-050-5707, Rod, Ground. Purchase Request Number IQC1114009038 Item is solicited as Unrestricted after exclusion of sources. This is a Hub-Zone Set A Side. Only offers from Hub Zone manufacturers or Hub Zone Dealers furnishing Hub Zone manufacturer's product will be considered. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. FOB Destination. Required delivery is 95 days ARO. Critical Application Item applies. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a 1-year base plus 4 option years. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) quantity of 1536 each for the base and each option year. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is 384 each for the base year only. The maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 3072 each for the base and each option year. The minimum and maximum ordering quantities will be the same for the base year and all four option years. Surge requirements are applicable. Surge plan detailing how schedule and surge quantity requirements will be met must be submitted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation issue date is August 2, 2011. The date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) Homepage (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil), select 'Request for Proposal (RFP)' under the Solicitations heading.
