It is the pre-solicitation notice posted under HSCG83-11-B-PCV066 on June 10, 2011. The solicitation will now be posted under HSCG83-11-B-PCV066A. NOTE: The solicitation number on the SF 1442 remains HSCG83-11-B-PCV066. (The addition of the "A" at the end of the number is for FedBizOpps posting purposes only) Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required for rehabilitation of the USCGC BRISTOL BAY pier, Detroit, MI. Major work items include: Pier Repairs: Inspect and sound all existing concrete beam and deck slab surfaces and mark areas of deterioration such as spalls and delamination; Remove deteriorated areas of concrete beams and deck and replace with new concrete and reinforcing steel; and, Complete miscellaneous pier maintenance and repairs to ladders, fender system and bollards. Pier Strengthening: Remove portions of existing concrete pier deck slab and install new concrete piles, pile cap, and pedestals to strengthen two heavy storage areas on the pier; and, Restore portions of concrete deck slab that were removed to install piles. This procurement is estimated between $1M and $5M. This procurement is a Total HubZone Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 237990/$33.5M. Completion time is 180 DANTP. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. NOTE: The Coast Guard now distributes the Technical Data Package (TDP) portion of the solicitation through the Federal Business Opportunities website. In order to obtain the TDP portion of the solicitation, the contractor will be required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and have a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN).
